5 MAKEUP HACKS THAT WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE! 1

Hey,
These makeup hacks will save your life! Trust me!

HACK 1- USING A ORANGE CONCEALER TO COVER UP  DARK CIRCLES

This hack has actually saved my life too, if you have really bad dark circles or hyperpigmentation around your face. Use a orange concealer and blend it out then put your normal concealer  on top and blend away dark circles gone!

HACK 2 -  OMBRE LIPS
The ombre lip, has been a trend that has circled the Internet for a couple of months and i have to say i  found it hard to try and match the colours together, it just a pain!
The best part about this hack is that you don't need 2 or 3 lipsticks you only need 1 and a white eyeliner.
All you do is apply your lipstick then put your white eyeliner in the middle and blend, there you have the perfect ombre lip!

HACK 3- TURNING ANY LIPSTICK MATTE
If your lipstick doesn't stay on you're lips (so annoying) then this will save you life, take any translucent powder (clear powder) and put on top you're regular lipstick, leave on the lips for about 10 seconds. And vollaaaah you have your new matte lipstick (it even works on matte lipstick).

HACK 4 - BABY POWDER FALSE EYELASH HACK
If you want more fuller lashes, cost your lashes with mascara then quickly apply some baby powder over your lashes. Then coat your lashes with more mascara. The baby powder will dry and act as a little extensions and give your lashes more fuller look.

HACK 5 - SET YOUR WATERLINE EYELINER

This hack saved my life, as I'm a waterline eyeliner wearer myself but  my eyeliner always escapes throughout the day! With this hack its really easy and simple but all you need to do is just put some eyeshadow, over your eyeliner and you will find that the eyeshadow will set your eyeliner and it last for longer.

Those are all the hacks there are many more, but i hope those help and ave your makeup life!

GOING/BACK TO SCHOOL- MY POST 16 CLOTHING AND IDEAS

Hey,

Back to school has crept around the corner far too quickly! Which may now mean in your this dilemmlia of 'sh*t what to do i wear?' Dont worry i got you covered babes.
I'm currently shopping for my college outfits on boohoo and primark! Both of these shops are cheap easy for me to buy all of my essentials fast! I brought most of my basics things such as a coat/jacket/blazer, shoes and a bag!

Depending on your college or schools dress code, at my old school they were very strict about clothing and it was suits for boys and work wear for girls. At my new college they are very easy about you wear as long as its school appropriate.

I feel like my go to outfit will be a top, black jeans or leggings with my coat and flats.

MY BOOHOO LIST

jacket

leggings

blazer

jeans
(boohoo)

I feel like these items are perfect for post 16 as they pretty smart and casual but school appropriate.
Now that I have my basics done it was on to buying the rest of my clothes such as tops which i find the hardest and most stressful to do.
Primark was the perfect place to buy  easy clothes for school because they are affordable and cute. Primark have a huge selection of basic clothing which was perfect for me.
I mainly brought basic tops, shirts and blouses.

If you are lucky like me and your school/ college doesn't have a dress code then go crazy and buy whatever (pretty sure by the end of year ill be rolling up in my hoodie)

I can also understand if your school is a strict, like my old school were very strict on what you wore.i have found  some outfit ideas from pinterest, that could give you some ideas! You can of course adapt these outfits to your own, but just so you get the idea of what to wear. For those who are finding it hard on what to wear!

To check out the outfit ideas —  outfits

Accessories wise I like to keep minimal as I feel like you don't need a lot of accessories for school except for a watch and handbag, maybe a scarf for winter but keep it low key lol.

Anyway i hoped that helped you, remember that dont stress about what to wear, your only going to school to learn..or pass. Show off your style on the weekends gal, f*ck the haters and move on!

Have a great week!

MY VANITY TOUR!

Hey,
Since getting my room redecorated I brought a new vanity desk, I really love shabby chic/vintage furniture so of course i had to buy a vanity desk that was white and vintage!

Melody Maison

VaNiTy DeSk

My vanity is from Melody Maison.com which is a online UK shabby chic furtnaite store, almost everything in my room is from there!

LiPsTiCk HoLdEr

On the left of my desk this is where i have my lipstick holder, where i keep majority of my lipsticks.
Majority of them are Mac ones, but i do keep some high street ones like Rimmel and Maybellie! Behind the lipstick holder I have a floral fold out mirror from urban outfitters (old) which is what  use to do to my makeup. Then on the right i have my go to products which are Guerlain  eye cream, Mac strobe cream and Mac studio moisture fix.

Then in the centre of my table I have wind up merry go around from Disneyland Paris this year! Not only am I bringing out my inner child, it also gives my table a pop of colour as everything else is white!

PeRfUmEs

On the right hand side I have my lovely selection of Viva La Juicy perfumes, the best perfumes ever!

Inside my vanity draws this is where I keep all of my face makeup, this includes foundations, powders, cc/bb creams, concealers, highlighters, bronzers and blushes.

In the draw next to it, I keep majority of my eye makeup, such as eyeliners, mascaras, lash curlers, primers , etc.

At the top of my triple mirror i keep a quote that i found on tumblr and Kylie jenner 'postcard' that i received when i brought the lip kits

That was my vanity tour a little short and sweet post today plus  little insight of my makeup collection, I will be doing a makeup collection in depth very soon!

HOW TO START/ BULID A MAKEUP COLLECTION ON A BUDGET!

Hey,

I 100% know the feeling of being a student and having a budget, honselty the struggle is real!
So today i thought of some tips that might help you spend less money but still build a pretty reasonable makeup collection!

 TIP 1: LOOK, LOOK, LOOK
If you are starting a makeup collection from scratch then it's slightly easy because you can follow this 'guide' and buy away! However if you have already a got a little collection and want to build  up more, then my advice would be to look at your collection and see what you already got, there is no point in buying something that you already have as its just a waste of money.

TIP 2: LIST
A pretty obvious tip but is too list products that you would like to buy (within your price range) make it a realistic list.

TIP 3: SAVE
If you want to start a makeup collection then you're going to have to save money as makeup isn't the most cheapest thing. Weather this be your weekly allowance from your parents or a job.
However i do know that it isn't easy as a teen to get a job ( trust me i know).  Now I'm not the job centre but a good way to get money is sell online, websites like depop and ebay. People will buy anything these days! You could even do chores around the house and in return get money from your parents. Wash your parents or neighbours cars etc. Or just even ask your parents for money (hehe)

TIP 4: LOOK FOR 2 IN 1

When i mean, 2 in 1 products like this where you get 2 products in 1 container. This is the master sculpt from Maybelline. Not only is the price good but you also get a bronzer and highlighter, this is ideal because  you don't have to fork out on another product. It's nice and compact and together, perfect for travelling. Both bronzer and highlighter are very pigmented as well!
Makeup sets, are another life saver, you can get a lot of makeup high end and drugstore from boots.

i brought this benefit box about 3 years ago and its had its use, defiantly would recommend this box as you are getting a lot of products all in one. Benefit have loads of  makeup sets. Yes you have to spend that much more but in a way its good because you get more for your value and benefit will never disappoint you because they always put in the best products in their boxes!

TIP 5: DUPES/ ALTERNATIVES
If you want a certain high end product that's a bit pricey, many drugstores have dupes, its pretty easy to look out for dupes, you can easily just google the product and dupe should come up! Dupes are amazing because you're going to pretty much getting the same product but for a lower price.

(google images)

TIP 6: DON'T BUY THINGS FOR THE SAKE OF IT!
LOL, this is something i need scream at myself, as i do this...alot.
I can understand that this is easily done, as makeup shops can be very over whelming as you want everything from there, but don't do it as when you get home you're gonna think why did i buy this, when i am gonna need this?

TIP 7: POINTS CARDS/ STUDENT CARDS

This are actually genius! The way the way the points card system work is every time you pay for something you the cashier your point cards and by however much you spend that day they will give you points for it! The points equal up and once you start to get gather your points up you can start to pay for things using your points card and get offers.
Student cards, ANOTHER GENIUS thing, as a student you can apply for a student card and get discounts at shops, this really does help if you want to build up your makeup collection!

(google images)

TIP 8: SALES
Sales, this can work both for highend and drugstore! Sales how could we forget about sales. If you live in the UK then you will know about the 3 for 2 in Boots and superdrug, the heaven day it makes such a diffrence and you can pick up more for pretty affordable price!

TIP 9: BIRTHDAYS AND CHRISTMAS // GIFTCARDS
Asking for makeup for your birthday or christmas thats what birthdays and xmas is for! lol
If you're unsure about what specfic products that you want, gitfcards are amazing becuase you can shop in your own time and choose later. ( it also saves the hassle of trying to explain to others what specfic product, shade and brand etc you want)

TIP 10: BRUSH SETS
Pretty self explanatory, but if you want to build up a makeup collection then you're going to need some brushes! Brush sets are perfect because even though you will have to spend that bit more money it works out cheaper then buying each individual brush.

TIP 11: USING OTHER MAKEUP PRODUCTS AS ALTERNATIVES
Honestly why can't you use a eyeshadow as highlighter it does the exact same job, and you won't have to bother buying another product? Why can't you use a brown eyeshadow as a bronzer?
EXACTLY!

So those were all the tips i could think of! I'm sure that there are others but you kinda get the idea, you can save a lot of money and also get makeup products as well!

These are my most recommend top picks from the 'drugstore', products and brands!
I'm not going into detail about them, but all of these products that i have chosen are high quality, and pigmented.

Feeling confideint - makeup, fashion and self esteem Part 1

Hey,
i just wanted to say that these pictures that are going to be featured in this blog post are not my own and are from Pinterest and google. (ok thanks)
Anyway I feel like this is a hard blog post to write as I'm not 100% confident with myself, but I think no one is and thats life. Anyway I wanted to talk about how to be confident with your fashion and makeup and yourself & now — a days girls and guys get bullied for the most stupidest thing like their fashion sense or makeup, just petty things like that.
Myself I have not been a subject of being bullied so I can't imagine the pain that people go through everyday. I know its easier said then done but I wanted to share some words and just say FUCK THE HATERS.

Honestly if you're reading this and you have bullied someone because of their shoes or something petty like that and not sorry for it, what is your life? I understand that everyone has a different opinions and sense and may not like a certain things but don't bring them down because of it. You are entitled to your opinion but don't bring that person down.

Know a days for girls especially its seen that if girls don't where makeup they are weird, know I myself do love makeup but there are so many days when I don't wear makeup. For example I didn't wear makeup to school because I didn't the feel to need to. School can be the most bitchiest place and teens are so hard on other teens ( srsly chill the fuck out why) you're going to school to learn (or to pass) like chill.

This goes the same for fashion and clothes whats the point of hating if a guy or a girl isn't wearing the on trend thing. Honestly yes I do myself follow the trends but I don't care if someone else isn't  thats their life not mine. Once again if you don't like something and have an opinion thats fine just don't bring them down.

Self esteem
Everyone has a self esteem weather it be low or high, majority most people have low self esteem (including me on certain days) rather than a high self esteem which is sad because it should be the other way around. Im not going to go into some detail about self esteem because its very touchy subject and everyone has different views.
A lot of people suffer from low esteem because of their weight and face people calling themselves ugly. I have to say that the media takes a big role as teenagers (mostly) look up to this 'perfect image' of being 'skinny' and 'tone' and 'pretty'.
Most teeenagers look up to celebrities who have personal trainers and a full glam squad  I myself used to look (still do sometimes) up to celebrities and think 'how they live the perfect life' 'they're aren't human themselves because she has clear skin and beautiful body' 'she doesn't have spots, why do I '. I would compare myself to them. DON'T COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS!

Honestly they are some many other reasons why we have low self esteem, the mind takes part the mind will always automatically compare yourself to others and of course bullying.

Be yourself and feel confident with your makeup and fashion!

Feeling confident with your makeup and fashion in other words means how to feel good about with yourself and not feel like shit, wear what you like and rock it chickas!
Pout with you bright red lipstick and dark smoky eye and feel good.
Smile with your bare lips,be happy with no makeup cause you're amazing with makeup and without makeup.
Just remember also why you're wearing makeup its art, never feel ugly without it on!

Who gives a shit if your don't any Adidas superstars cause no one gives a shit you are you! Yes, haters are going to hate but thats because they probably have a low self esteem themselves are trying to bring you down with them, so they feel better about themselves.
Stop comparing yourself to other people you are you and thats all!

If you are sitting here and comparing yourself to someone like the kardashains first of all (think about how they got famous because urm... yeah) also they have money LOL.
Not to throw any shade at Kylie Jenner, but I myself really thought Kylie Jenner was really pretty before the surgery  I know it was her choice and she self conscious of her lips , etc., but people look up her and call themselves ugly. Did that stupid Kylie lip challenge? Stop it and love yourself, you are unique in your own way! Don't feel self conscious about yourself. As I said it is easier said then done but try to wake up and smile in mirror, laugh with your dog and try to think of a postive outcome from that day.

Don't call yourself ugly because you have spots and pores its natural at the end of the day, you're not ugly because of it. Don't call yourself ugly and fat if you're not the same weight as a Victoria secret model, everyone comes in different shapes and sizes, remember that if you are unhappy with yourself, its never too late to change it but always accept your real self.

 REMEMBER BE BOLD
 SMILE YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!

Here are some some quotes from Pinterest I wanted to share!

Fuck the haters!

SUMMER STROBE - Mac strobing cream

Hey,
So ive been strobing for about 5 months now and i love it! This product is one of my most favourite products to use when im strobing. As it has been summer I've been wanting a more glowly and dewy makeup.

For those who don't know what strobing is, strobing is the technique where you use a cream with an built in illumnaitor almost like a primer (as you strobe before doing you makeup). You use the cream on the high points of your face such as you cheeks and t zone (bridge of nose, above your lip, chin and high parts of forehead) This will result a dewy and illuminated look once completed your makeup.  Many celebrities use this technique!

Here are some example of celebrities who strobe:

CHECK THAT GLOW OUT!

(google imagines)

As you can see strobing really gives your skin a natural glow without looking cakey. Strobing itself isn't hard either, you can create the most simplest look BUT also create the an ultra glam red carpet look too! That's the best bit about strobing day to night look achieved easily.

MAC'S STROBE CREAM
This product over all has made it into my summer makeup routine now, this product was quite a recent purchase for me, i actually brought it from the airport on the way Paris and used ever since.

I can't really say alot about the packaging as its the very simple mac package but it a perfect size for travelling and isn't too big, i would recommended you pack this product epically if your going on holiday somewhere warm you should wear it! As it would give your skin an instant glow. You could defiantly just wear this under some light BB cream or even on its own! The only down side is that you would have to wear suncream on the top as it doesn't have SPF in it which is a shame. KIDS ALWAYS PROTECT YOUR SKIN FROM THE SUN, YOU WILL THANK ME LATER!!

The consistency of the product is a liquid as you may have guessed, its slightly lighter than a cream or a primer and doesn't have a gel formula. Over all it feels very light on the skin when applied and blended in. You can either use a beauty blender or your finger to simply blend this product in either way it still looks beautiful and glowy.

This is the amount that comes out with one squeeze, a perfect amount to cover the whole face. This is great as you wont be wasting any product.

Unblended. It looks good on every skin tone weather you have fair skin tone or a darker tone.

Blended as you can see when its blended it gives off a white shimmer on my skim tone and i have a fairly olive skin tone. I'm NC 40 at mac if you wanted a skin tone reference.

(also ignore my krusty af hands i need some hand cream asap)
